Offered for your consideration today is this early vintage Fenton hobnail compote candy dish, 8.75" tall with a top diameter of 5".
It has no maker's mark, but early pieces such as this one would have had a paper label sticker. The color is a golden amber,very pretty.
The edges are scalloped as you can see in the picture with the lid off. It is very hard for pictures to capture the beauty and quality of Fenton glassware ,but those of you who collect Fenton Art Glass already know it"s quality and this piece is a very fine example of their candy dishes.
