The history is divided into chronological divisions; the age of industry, the age of agriculture, the era of hunting and pre-history, and is organized on thematic lines. The emphasize is on the Industrial Revolution to modern times. Hardback book is in good condition, minimal wear to cover, very small spot on back cover, hinges on front and back starting to crack, cover firmly attached, binding tight. Internally, pages are in excellent condition, all pages clean and unmarked, no writing, stains, tears, rips, etc. Dust jacket in fair condition, small tears along top edges, tear on spine, see scan. Book measures 6 1/4 inches by 9 1/2 inches, 700 pages. Great history book for the general reader.
