Elegant vintage porcelain snack plate hand painted in a gold pattern very popular during the 1950s, and still maintains its appeal today. Raised "golden wheat" design on clean white scallop shell shape, with an indentation for a cup. Bottom is unmarked, but is determined to have been made in Japan either by Lefton China or Lipper & Mann. Dimensions: 8.5 inches in diameter. Condition: In excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Gold is 80-90% intact, depending on the plate. The wear is mainly small skips in the stems of the wheat at the raised scallops, due to stacking, and hardly noticeable skips at the rim.Availability: 3 plates. Price is per plate.
