Spring 1935 South Michigan Nursery Catalog. George Stromer was the owner of this New Buffalo, Michigan company. New Buffalo is located in Berrien County, 1-1/2 miles from Lake Michigan - a prime fruit growing area.
The colorful cover features cherries, strawberries, sweet corn, pears, apples, peaches and gladiolus. The back cover features 5 popluar roses. The inside 23 pages are loaded with colorful lithographs of all kinds of fruit, vegetables, flowers and trees. There's even an order form still inside.
There is some edge and corner wear and some corner creases, but the colors are crisp and the pages are clean. This is a very nice collectible catalog. |
