More Cross Stitch Afghans, American School of Needlework No. 3522, 1989, 17pp.
Heirlooms in the making -- 5 cross stitch patterns to stitch into afghan-sized woven fabrics. Each design is made for a different type of fabric, as described below.
"English Rose Garden" is done with Gloria Cloth and has ribbon trimming surrounding the central bouquet and each corner single rose motif. "Catniptions" is done with Anne Cloth, has 12 different adorable cat design squares worked into a 7 X 9 square layout. "Queen Anne's Lace" is worked with white floss onto rose-colored Liberty Square fabric. "Northwoods Retreat" is done with green floss on a beige and green Hearthside fabric for a peaceful, country look. And "Quilt Star" repeats a simple colorful star pattern on Udine fabric for a stunning overall design that may be varied according to color as well as number of repetitions.
