A treasury of 28 cross stitch charts depicting actual lighthouses along the Atlantic coast of the United States. A map on the back shows the locations of each lighthouse, from West Quoddy Head in Maine to Fowey Rocks in Florida.
"From the oldest in the U.S. (Sandy Hook, NJ) to the tallest (Cape Hatteras, NC), the lighthouses of the East Coast march from Maine down to Florida. Over 120 of these imposing sentinels guard our coast line and provide navigational aid to ships on the high seas. Some are no longer in use; some are no longer standing; but those remaining are spectacular monuments to a nation's very real concern with marine safety. Obviously, it was not possible to include all our great East Coast lighthouses in this publication, but we have done some from each state along the Atlantic Coast except for Maryland, which has no ocean coast lighthouses."
Charts are in black and white with symbols to indicate floss colors.
