Offered today from my personal collection of antique knives at a special price is a very neat rare lot of (2) Victorian Era Gent knives with bails. Both knifes are equal ends with 2 blades as you can see. The knife with the rectangular cartouche on handle is a Colonial and both blades are full with no sharpening visable. Main blade has long pull and marked at tang COLONIAL over PROV. R.I. over U.S.A. Handles are brass and have a nice pattern on both sides. Good snap on both blades both ways. The other knife is an Imperial Prov. R.I. knife and both blades show a lot of stains but not much sharpening, if any! Main blade marked on tang IMPERIAL over PROV. R.I. Bolth blades have good snap both ways! I estimate these knives to be from the Victorian era, or from about 1890 - 1920. Two nice knives for your collection or use at a great price, so don`t miss out!
