Offered today from my personal collection of antique knives at a special price is a neat old D. Peres Germany MOP Swell end knife. Handles are a beautiful MOP and front side has just a small piece missing above top pen and a couple of tiny cracks at bottom pin. Back side also missing a small piece at top pin and has a larger circular crack at large end. Blades show some sharpening and age staining, along with some slight rust which should clean up with the right stuff. Scissors work but have a missing spring. Small blade/file is marked at tang D. PERES over SOLINGEN over GERMANY. Larger blade is not marked. All blades & scissors have opening snap & closing snap, except for smaller blade which has none. D. Peres Germany has been in business from 1885 to the present, and I estimate this knife to have been made in the late 1890`s! A neat well made MOP knife from a quality maker which just need some cleaning, so don`t miss out!
