Offered today from my personal collection of antique photography is a neat small size cabinet card of two lovely young women wearing hats & striking a very friendly pose. Young woman standing has her left hand resting on seated woman`s left shoulder in a very loving manner. She is also wearing a man`s style military dress hat I think. Seated lady is very pretty. Maybe this is a lesbian couple and the standing lady wears the man`s hat for a reason! Hmmmm! I guess we will never know for sure, will we! Photo is in pretty good condition for age with some slight sun fading toward bottom right. Hard board is in very good condition with just some handling wear. Estimated age is post civil war period c.1880`s -90`s. This would be a wonderful addition to any collection of antique photography.
