Antique Bisque Japanese Half Doll

A cute Japanese half doll marked "Japan". She holds a fan. I don't know anything about the age of it, but she has no holes in her base to attach a skirt to. It's possible that she was the top for a whisk brush? She has a little dot on her nose and I don't know if it's a ding, or what, but it feels a little rough.
She is 3 3/4 inches high. |
