Antique French Limoges Gold Rimmed Pink Rose Garland Plate
Lovely pink roses and white flowers decorate this very beautiful old porcelain plate, with gold accenting its scalloped rim.
An estate sale find, the mark identifies it as a Bawo & Dotter design and its manufacture as sometime between 1896 and 1920, by Elite Works of Limoges France.
Dimensions: about 10 inches in diameter.
Condition: In excellent condition with no cracks, scratches, or crazing. A tiny chip on the back side of the rim, not visible from the front and not very noticeable even from the back.
A gorgeous display plate, and works well on a table with other old-fashioned floral patterns. |
