These are very rare & hard to come by, especially in this condition. Image is very sharp and in very good condition for age! This would be a wonderful addition to any collection of WWII photography. The photo is a fantastic shot of a Japanese infantry platoon in Japan taking a break in the woods. Officer can be seen in the middle at the back and a corporal is on the right in the back. They all look young and eager to go to war. Wonder how many of them made it back, if any! A great WWII shot for your collection! This photo is in very good condition for the age with just slight handling wear. Taken from Japanese veteran photo album purchased at estate sale! Estimated date is late 1930`s.
