This is a GORGEOUS Lapis Lazuli necklace that was hand crafted in India. It is chunky and heavy. Made with very Top Grade Lapis and hand crafted sterling silver filigree beads. The two long lapis pieces are tubular in shape, they look almost square in the photo but they are tubular (round). This is a one of a kind very beautiful piece to own. The flash from the camera makes the Lapis appear lighter than in person. This is a very dark royal blue necklace, there is no visible calcite and very, very little pyrite as is common in Lapis.
It weighs a full 96 Grams! It is 19 1/2" from the ends of the hook and loop. The largest sterling silver bead in the center is 5/8" wide or about 17mm wide. The long pieces of Lapis are about 1 6/8" long and 7/16th" thick or almost 1/2" thick.
