Offered today from my collection of vintage Japanese comics is a rare copy of First Step The Fighting Vol. 36 from 2001, 15th reprint dated 6/8/01. The first edition was printed in 1997 on Jan. 17th. Written & illustrated by Joji Morikawa. A very popular comic in Japan and it tells the story of a young man who dreams of becoming a world class boxer & his trials & tribulations obtaining this goal. This comic is in Japanese & would be a great way to study the language while enjoying the fantastic art work inside. Japanese Manga artists are some of the best & they are highly sought out by collectors! There are 181 pages in this comic. It is used but in very good condition, with no torn or missing pages except for a slightly torn cover at the middle of the spine about half an inch long. There is some slight sun bleaching around outer edges, which is to be expected for an 8 year old comic. Offered today for the very reasonable price of just $6.00, and shipping to the USA by regular air/not insured will be just $5.00.
