Offered today from my collection of vintage Japanese comics is a rare copy of Chameleon Vol. 7 from 1996, 18th reprint dated 2/8/96. The first edition was printed in 1991 on Aug. 8th. Written & illustrated by Kase Atsushi. Chameleon was a very popular comic in Japan and highly collectible. It is the story of a young high school boy who changes schools after suffering from lots of bullying. There are many bullies in his new school so he decides to change his appearance & attitude and pretends to be a tough young hood. This is a very funny comic even with the occasional brawls & he gets into lots of scraps here & there but usually comes out the winner, so others believe he is the real thing. This comic is in Japanese & would be a great way to study the language while enjoying the fantastic art work inside. Japanese Manga artists are some of the best & are highly sought out by collectors! There are 195 pages in this comic and it is used but in very good condition, with no torn or missing pages. There is some slight sun bleaching around outer edges, which is to be expected for a 13 year old comic. Offered today for the very reasonable price of just $6.00, and shipping to the USA by regular air/not insured will be just $5.00.
