Offered today from my collection of vintage Japanese comics is a rare copy of Chinmoku no Kantai, "The Silent Service" Vol. 7 from 1992, 6th reprint dated 10/5/92. The first edition was printed 10/23/90. Written & illustrated by Kawaguchi Kaiji. The Silent Service was & still is a very popular comic in Japan & around the world. It tells the story of a Japanese Self Defense force nuclear powered submarine crew that goes rogue & decides to attack Russian forces & anybody else that tries to stop them! This comic is in Japanese & would be a great way to study the language while enjoying the fantastic art work inside. Japanese Manga artists are some of the best & their works are highly sought out by collectors! There are 230 pages in this comic. It is used but in very good condition, with no torn or missing pages. There is some slight sun bleaching around outer edges, which is to be expected for a 19 year old comic. Offered today for the very reasonable price of just $6.00, and shipping to the USA by regular air/not insured will be just $6.00.
